2024 ATP Tennis Format & Schedule
All roads lead not to Rome but to Turin, as far as the best ATP tennis stars are concerned. The ATP Finals event begins with a round-robin format, as eight players divide into two groups of four.
Each player plays three matches in their group, and the top two players proceed to the semi-finals. The winners of each semi-final then contest the grand final to become the end-of-season ATP Champion.
Qualification & Qualified Players
Players qualify for the ATP Finals throughout each year in what is known as the ATP Race to Turin. Based on their performance in ATP-ranked tournaments, the top seven players qualify this way.
Up to two Grand Slam winners placed between 8th and 20th in the ATP rankings can also qualify if they are not currently ranked in the top seven. If there are no Grand Slam champions to pick from, the player in 8th position in the Race to Turin qualifies with the other seven players.
Top tennis players for the ATP Tour Finals include:
Novak Djokovic
Carlos Alcaraz
Daniil Medvedev
Jannik Sinner

Moneyline (Head-to-Head): A moneyline bet in tennis is a straight-up head-to-head bet on a tennis match where you pick the winning player.
Outright (Tennis Futures): In an outright tennis bet, you typically pick the winner of an entire tournament, such as Wimbledon or the French Open. Read our outright sports betting guide for more information.
Correct score: A correct score bet in tennis is a bet on the final score in a set or entire match.
Handicap: Handicap betting is popular in tennis, as it allows you to back the favourite with a handicap attached, offering better odds should they win.

Double Result: A double result bet allows you to bet on two possible outcomes at the same tennis event.
