He previously won the lightweight title when he beat Michael Chandler in 2021, but was submitted by Islam Makhachev and has since gone 2-1 in his last 3 fights.
Alexandre Pantoja
Pantoja has now defended his flyweight belt 3 times and is on a 7-fight win streak. Over the course of his professional career, he has 29 wins and 5 losses, with a 13-3 record in the UFC. He’s not only extremely skilled but also incredibly tough, and has put on some excellent fights, winning 4 performance bonuses in his last 6 fights. 38% of Pantoja’s wins have come by way of submission.
Kai Kara-France has a 25-11 professional MMA record, with an 8-4 record in the UFC. He’s currently ranked 4th in the flyweight division and recently won an impressive round 1 KO victory over former title challenger Steve Erceg. Kai had previously lost when he came up against elite opposition such as Moreno and Royval, and also suffered a controversial split decision loss to Amir Albazi.
This is the fight that has all MMA fans across the world most excited right now.
